There is nothing more beautiful than a Briarcliff Manor wedding at any time of year. We love this gorgeous and versatile venue, where you can host both indoor and outdoor ceremonies. For winter months, like Kyle and Bronte’s wedding, they had a gorgeous indoor celebration. We love how cozy and warm the space looks at this time of year.

As Hudson Valley wedding photographers, venues like this are one of a kind. The stunning view of the region from the yard of the venue makes for a perfect backdrop. In the winter months, if you’re brave enough to hop outside in the cold weather, it is so worth it. On beautiful, overcast winter days like this, you’ll get lovely views, and great lighting. If you plan to have a wedding at Briarcliff Manor in the wintertime, you’ll want to plan ahead.
Consider doing a first look on the wedding day to make time for portraits. The sunsets earlier in the winter months, so you’ll want to be able to use the outdoor spaces at the venue. Take all of your portraits ahead of time so you can have some daylight shots. That way, you can have some variety in your photos for both outdoor and indoor shots at a Briarcliff Manor wedding.
As a wedding photo and video team in the Westchester, this is one of our favorite spots to take photos. Not only are there a number of spaces to use inside and out, but they also have a great team. All of our couples are carefully looked after when it comes to hosting a wedding at this Briarcliff venue. Plus, guests always rave about the cocktail hour appetizers and dinner menu.

If you want to host a winter wedding in the Hudson Valley, definitely check out this spot. We have some tips to make your cold weather celebration even more special. First of all, consider a first look to get some daylight in your photos. Plus, if you want to be outside, it’ll be warmer during the day. You’ll also want to have a cozy wrap or jacket to hop in and out of for pictures.
Next, you’ll want to have a warm drink on standby for you and anyone else taking photos with you. Bronte and Kyle had their families brave the cold with them. Another big addition to a Briarcliff Manor wedding in the winter are hand warmers. These are a lifesaver; put them in your pockets, your shoes, by your bouquet stems; anywhere you can think of.

These two tore up the dance floor on the big day and partied with glow sticks as well. This was a fun way to add a little sparkle to the cold winter night. If you want to spice up your reception, keep your guests moving with dance sets between courses. That’ll keep your guests warm and moving before they head out into the winter weather again.
A tip to bring some gorgeous elements to your indoor wedding ceremony at Briarcliff Manor is to add lots of flowers. Kyle and Bronte had a beautiful birch tree archway. Plus, they had rose petals lining the aisle which added depth to the space. We love when couples take a venue like this and make it their own.
