Emma and Bronwyn had a gorgeous summer Maple Meadows Farm wedding. The day was filled with so much love, laughter, and tears of happiness. Their family and friends were there to celebrate with them every step of the way, and it was truly a day to remember. We adored this Port Colborne wedding as Buffalo wedding photographers.
Emma and Bronwyn’s summer Ontario wedding was everything they dreamed of and more. When we arrived at Maple Meadows Farm, we were greeted with the most beautiful setting. The sun was shining, and the grounds were perfect for a rustic farm wedding. After spending some time with the ladies while getting ready, it was time for their ceremony.
Emma and Bronwyn chose to have an indoor ceremony at Maple Meadows Farm. With the sun shining outside, their guests got a beautiful breeze from the outdoors. It was a beautiful moment when these two became wives for the rest of their lives. Indoor ceremonies can be great because you don’t have to worry about the weather, and you can still get that natural light coming in. Plus, with the heat of summer, it can be a nice reprieve to have your ceremony indoors.
After their ceremony, it was time to celebrate! Their guests made their way outside for cocktail hour while we took some time for photos with the beautiful brides. We loved exploring the grounds of Maple Meadows Farm and finding all of the perfect spots for photos. This is definitely a venue we could spend all day at.
Emma and Bronwyn’s reception was held in the barn, and it was decorated so beautifully. They had long tables with greenery runners, candles, and hanging florals. When it comes to hosting a Maple Meadows Farm wedding, you definitely have the opportunity to get creative with your decor. It’s such a beautiful and versatile space.
After dinner, speeches, laughter and tears, it was time for Emma and Bronwyn’s first dance as newlyweds. These two danced to “She” by Elvis Costello and it was just beautiful. With the sunset streaming in, it was a perfect moment. As Niagara wedding photographers, we always love photographing first dances because they’re just so filled with emotion.
As the night went on, everyone tore up the barn dance floor. The crowd really got the party started and boogied to the beat. We even got to sneak away for a few sunset photos, which are always our favorite.
If you’re thinking of having a barn wedding in Niagara, the best time of year is definitely summer. There are so many gorgeous venues to choose from, and the weather is just perfect. If you’re planning a Maple Meadows Farm wedding, you couldn’t ask for a better season. This venue has lush greenery outdoors and the barn offers a cool, shady respite for guests.
If you’re planning a barn wedding in the Niagara region, there are a few things to keep in mind. Foremost, it’s important to consider what your indoor and outdoor spaces look like. You’ll want to ensure that your ceremony space is well-lit and that your reception space has enough room for all your guests. It’s also important to consider the weather when choosing a date for your barn wedding. Summer is definitely the best time of year to have a barn wedding, but if you’re set on a different season, be sure to have a backup plan in case of rain.
When it comes to decorating your barn wedding, the sky is the limit. You can really get creative and have fun with it. There are so many different ways you can style a barn, so don’t be afraid to experiment. And lastly, don’t forget the little details. The small touches are what will make your barn wedding truly unique.
When it comes to getting great wedding photos, it’s important to let your photographer do their job. That means trusting them to capture the moments as they happen, without staging too many shots. The best wedding photos are always the ones that are natural and candid. So, relax and enjoy your day – your Niagara wedding photographer will take care of the rest.
We recommend scheduling an engagement session if you want to get to know your ON wedding photographer before your big day. This is a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera and to see how your wedding photo and video team works. It’s also a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about your wedding photography.
The florals were put together by Eyeball Floral. Emma and Bronwyn’s catering was done by Erik Peacock from Wellington Court. The cake was baked by the brides’ brother-in-law.
