The festivities began with a relaxed picnic for family and friends at Glynwood Farm. Emma, Nick, and their guests enjoyed a leisurely lunch while taking in the breathtaking views of the Hudson Valley. These two didn’t want their wedding to feel stuffy or formal. We particularly love this historic event space in Cold Spring because it has so much character. Nick enjoyed the farm aspect of it, even attempting to pet a baby sheep on the farm during cocktail hour. These two couldn’t have chosen a more beautiful venue, and Venture North Events truly made it happen for them.

Romantic Evening Ceremony at Golden Hour in Hudson Valley

They next led their guests over to the ceremony space accompanied by music. For the ceremony, Emma wore a beautiful white dress, and Nick looked handsome in a grey suit. The wedding ceremony took place outdoors with their guests circled around. It was just beautiful as golden hour set in. It’s always a good idea to have your celebration close to sunset for beautiful lighting.

For weddings and events, Glynwood can host anywhere from 50 guests to 150 guests. You can have live music like Emma and Nick, or have a DJ out at this gorgeous space. You can also get great family portraits and wedding party photos prior to ceremony at one of the many gorgeous nooks and crannies this farm has to offer. This is one of our favorite places in the greater New York area, and it’s super close to Beacon, NY. There are tons of great spots for rehearsal dinners and after parties in Cold Spring and Dutchess County.
