We started with the couple out and about in the streets of the neighborhood. Broadway is a great place to get shots of the buildings of the area. These towering castiron buildings are some of the most iconic in the city. We also love the cobblestone streets in this area. It’s a true mix of old New York and modern times.

Unique and Timeless NYC Engagement Photo Shoot

For especially cinematic photos, head down Spring Street and go down the side streets for some views. We love the structures and timeless looks of this Soho engagement photography session. This neighborhood is special to the couple and it’s important to document the place a couple’s love story blossoms.

One of our favorite structures in the area is the Ralph Lauren store. It provides a beautiful castiron backdrop and can be shot catty corner on the street. It’s perfect early in the morning before foot traffic in the neighborhood increases. Plus, you get some cobblestone and some pavement streets in this spot.

After some dramatic and moody shots in the streets, the couple took us to a private residence for some intimate photos. We love to capture couples in their element like this. We finished with some shots of Catherine’s beautiful engagement ring outside of Feste. There was a lovely disco ball sculpture set up which was perfect for a close-up shot of the diamond.
