We're Beacon-based Hudson Valley & Catskills wedding + elopement photographers who love to capture natural, authentic moments for all couples in love.
Dylan and Samara recited vows, surrounded by very close family and friends. We absolutely loved witnessing this ceremony, led by Hope Mirlis of a Perfect Union NY. With personal vows and loving sentiments, these two chose to say ‘I Do’ in a low-key way on a lovely winter day.

Samara and Dylan got ready in their apartment before guests arrived. We loved witnessing these fun moments of getting ready with close friends, and it really set the tone for the intimate feel of their day. There were lots of laughs and good times to be had before the party even got started.
The intimate living room setting was perfect for their elopement. These two set up string lights and a curtain to make the space more romantic. Dylan and Samara exchanged rings and kisses amidst soft furnishings and delicate blooms. It felt so special to be a part of their day – congratulations to these two.
After the intimate ceremony, we walked around the neighborhood for some iconic New York elopement photography. We love finding new spots in the city to photograph our couples – it makes each wedding unique. The juxtaposition of their stunning outfits against the old brick streets was perfect for Dylan and Samara’s photos.

If you plan to have an intimate marriage, elopement photography is a great way to capture the moment without all of the fanfare. You can focus on your loved ones surrounding you, and not worry about any details. Elopements are also perfect for couples who want a more relaxed wedding day.
If you’re considering eloping in your home, there are a few things to take into consideration. First, make sure your home is large enough to accommodate guests if you plan to have any – you’ll likely need space for a ceremony and/or reception. Second, consider your home’s decor – will it be appropriate for a wedding? If not, you may need to do some additional styling. Lastly, think about your home’s location – is it accessible for guests? If not, you’ll need to provide directions and/or parking information.
If you’re considering having your elopement photography in your home, there are a few ways to dress it up for the occasion. You can add decorations like flowers, balloons, or streamers; set up a sweetheart table; or hang a banner or sign that says “I Do.” If you have a fireplace, consider putting up a backdrop or using it as part of your photo setup. You can also use props like chairs, blankets, or pillows to make your home look more like a wedding venue.

As Hudson Valley wedding photographers, we know how to capture the candid, fun moments of an elopement. We love all the emotion and laughter that comes with these weddings, and we know how to document them in a beautiful way. If you’re looking for New York elopement photography, we’d love to chat with you about your plans.
Either way works for us! We’ll be in touch in no time at all to book in a chat with you and, yes, we’re sure Cordy and Phoebe will pop up and say hi.
