Angela and Meghan’s LGBTQ wedding at The Garrison was filled with laughter, tears, and so much joy. This lovely couple tied the knot in front of family and friends in a ceremony that radiated love from start to finish. Their connection was evident throughout the entire day, and we couldn’t be happier to have captured it for them as their Hudson Valley wedding photographers.
Angela and Meghan, both gorgeous brides, were the epitome of beauty on their special day. Meghan wore a jumpsuit with a train that was both stylish and unique, while Angela wore a classic and elegant gown that perfectly complemented her beauty. Together, the two made a stunning pair and radiated love with every glance and touch.

The day began with an emotional first look under the gazebo, where the two brides locked eyes for the first time on their wedding day. The moment is filled with tears, joy, and an understanding of how much they love each other. It was a moment that they will never forget and that will always hold a special place in their hearts.

After the first look, the wedding party headed out for portraits against the picturesque backdrop of the Hudson Valley. The breathtaking views of the valley provided the perfect setting for capturing the couple’s love in photos. The winter light was soft and flattering, adding a magical touch to every image.

Winter weddings offer a completely different aesthetic than other seasons. The bare trees create elegant silhouettes, the soft light flatters skin tones, and the cozy indoor spaces feel warm and intimate. Angela and Meghan’s LGBTQ wedding at The Garrison showcased all of these winter advantages.

The ceremony was held indoors and was filled with love, laughter, and a sense of unity. The room was adorned with beautiful floral arrangements, and the mood was set for the perfect winter wedding. The couple exchanged heartfelt vows, and there was not a dry eye in the house. Queer weddings are always a beautiful moment to witness, and this winter wedding in the Hudson Valley is a perfect example.

Their loved ones played an important role in Angela and Meghan’s wedding. From helping with the planning and organization to being there on the day of the wedding, their support was invaluable. The wedding was not just about the couple, but about the community they had built around them. Whatever your chosen family looks like, they can be a powerful part of your celebration.

As the day turned to evening, the couple headed outside for some sunset portraits. The sunset was stunning, with hues of pink, purple, and orange casting a warm glow over the valley. The couple looked radiant in the soft, warm light, and we captured the perfect moment in time.

The reception made for a night to remember. The couple had a romantic choreographed first dance that was stunning and moving. The dance was full of passion, love, and connection, and it was clear to everyone in the room that these two brides were made for each other. Weddings at The Garrison are always full of laughter and celebration.

As Hudson Valley wedding photographers, we have had the privilege of capturing several LGBTQ weddings at The Garrison and always felt welcomed alongside our couples. Angela and Meghan’s celebration was no exception. The venue’s team went above and beyond to make their day seamless and personal.

Angela and Meghan’s wedding comes together thanks to an incredible team of vendors. Remixologists kept the dance floor packed all night with the perfect mix of music. Once Upon a Vow officiated the heartfelt ceremony that had everyone in tears. The team at The Garrison coordinated every detail seamlessly from start to finish. Supreme Photo Booth gave guests a fun way to capture memories throughout the night. And Pastry Garden Bakery created a stunning cake that tasted as good as it looked. Each vendor played a role in making this celebration unforgettable.
