These two started the day at the Brooklyn Bridge Marriott to get ready. This hotel is incredibly convenient for events in DUMBO, the downtown area, and even Gowanus. It is a great option for couples who are looking for a hotel that has great space and lots of natural light. David also had their cat, Admiral Peanut Butter, join him in the hotel room.

The first look took place in Brooklyn Bridge Park. We went to the John St area of the park for a more intimate setting. This part of the park has the Manhattan Bridge overhead and makes for a gorgeous backdrop. We were also lucky enough to have a cloudy, beautiful day for their wedding photos in DUMBO.

On this hot summer day, these two cooled off in Time Out Market between shots. Not only is there a great view of the Brooklyn Bridge near St. Ann’s Warehouse, but you can relax during your portraits session. We also love to use the Max Family Garden for a touch of greenery in your New York City wedding photos.

The wedding ceremony took place at the sun-speckled backyard of Gran Electrica. Dappled with light, these two were surrounded by close loved ones. Friends and family gathered in their seats at this restaurant wedding venue in Brooklyn. David and Megan said their vows and exchanged rings.

After the ceremony, we ran out to Brooklyn Bridge Park for a few sunset photos. However, the sky opened up and started to pour rain. We hid in a doorway until the rain passed. The restaurant did an incredible job at flipping the space for the rainstorm. Megan and David missed out on the rain at the venue while they were off shooting DUMBO portraits.
