We're Beacon-based Hudson Valley & Catskills wedding + elopement photographers who love to capture natural, authentic moments for all couples in love.
Maggie and Kevin’s stunning Central Park engagement session took place on a foggy morning after a storm. We love sunrise photo shoots because they offer a quiet, intimate setting and a great variety of backdrops. As wedding photographers in the Hudson Valley, we’re always drawn back to the city because of this park. The combination of the fog and the early morning light made for a dramatic and moody engagement session.

These two absolutely brought the energy to their shoot. We loved Kevin and Maggie’s willingness to lean in and have fun. It’s so important to capture non-traditional and fun shots of couples in love. We want you to relax and remember that this story is about the two of you. We’re just here to document the love between you.
The engagement session in Central Park started by Gapstow Bridge, a staple of the park. The fog off the water and around the buildings created quite the romantic atmosphere. We love the summertime in this park because of its cooler morning weather for days like this. As a wedding photo and video team, we always recommend sessions start at sunrise for best weather, light, and low foot traffic.
Maggie and Kevin then posed on Cat Rock which has one of the best NYC skyline views out there. With the Essex House in the background, this spot is full of iconic buildings. For timeless images in New York City, you can’t go wrong with a Central Park engagement session. We especially love to capture the ever-evolving landscape of the city.

We then walked to The Mall with the couple, a classic spot in the park for photos. This foggy morning yielded a totally empty space. It was incredible to capture this couple without any tourists or joggers in the background. These two simply got to enjoy each other’s company in one of the most beautiful places in the world.
Our photo session in Central Park continued at Bethesda Terrace. With the fountain, arcade, and the Central Park Boathouse as backdrops, you really can’t go wrong. The pictures ceased after Bow Bridge, a staple of this iconic park in New York. This summertime photo shoot had a perfect foggy air throughout the whole time.
Whether you’re looking at a sunny summer session or a moody winter gallery, you can bet this park has everything for you. We love to capture this location in every season and can’t wait to show you the best spots for pictures. Every single corner has something wonderful to it, and every area is flawless.

Our team of Hudson Valley wedding photographers loves to come into the city for Central Park engagement sessions. We can help you choose the best spots and make sure you have the best experience. Our candid, comfortable photography style allows you to have a photojournalistic documentation of your love story. We want you to feel at home with us and get great shots of your time as fiancés.
Either way works for us! We’ll be in touch in no time at all to book in a chat with you and, yes, we’re sure Cordy and Phoebe will pop up and say hi.
