Eric and Noelle were married at Briarcliff Manor in Briarcliff, New York. We were honored to capture such a beautiful wedding venue with a lot of charm. With the property covered in gorgeous foliage, this place made for amazing photos during the autumn season.
Keeping things traditional, these two skipped out on a first look and decided to do couples photos after the ceremony. We love it when couples do the traditional wedding photography timeline. As Hudson Valley wedding photographers, we love being able to capture the special moments during cocktail hour when it’s important to the couple not to see each other. For this Briarcliff Manor wedding, it was very important that Noelle and Eric see each other for the first time during the ceremony.
Before we get into photos, lets talk about this upstate NY wedding venue first! This beautiful event space has so many different photo opportunities with amazing details inside and outside of the hall. Briarcliff Manor is an elegant reception hall that can accommodate up to 200 people and has a beautiful outdoor area where the ceremony took place. This romantic event space is tucked away in the Hudson Valley and the perfect place for brides and grooms looking for an elegant wedding venue without having to travel far from New York City.
This Briarcliff Manor wedding was so beautiful! With the ceremony taking place outside in late October under an autumn sunset, we couldn’t have asked for a better backdrop. These two look like they were straight out of a gorgeous fall catalog and we loved working with them. Briarcliff Manor is the perfect venue for a small wedding because of its cozy and intimate feel that provides a beautiful background without being too large. For Briarcliff weddings outside New York City, you really can’t go wrong with this place.
We love Briarcliff Manor weddings at sunset time! The autumn colors around this upstate New York wedding venue are just so gorgeous! Briarcliff Manor is the perfect Hudson Valley wedding location for intimate celebrations. After the ceremony, we then took bride and groom Noelle and Eric to do some pictures before their Briarcliff Manor wedding reception. With the sun about to set, we loved these Briarcliff Manor photos during golden hour with the light shining through the colorful trees.
For Briarcliff Manor weddings, it’s important to us as Hudson Valley wedding photographers & videographers that we capture the beauty of autumn through natural lighting. When there is a warm sunset with perfect lighting during October and November, we love photographing Tarrytown and Hudson Valley weddings outside surrounded by gorgeous fall foliage.
We also love taking Briarcliff Manor wedding photos in the courtyard and reception hall, which is where we took the family photos after the ceremony. Briarcliff Manor is a place brides and grooms can enjoy their wedding photography and not worry about anything else. Eric and Noelle were such a fun couple to work with during their Briarcliff wedding. They had so much energy which made photographing them in a short period of time super easy.
When we did their Central Park engagement photo during the fall a year prior, we knew they’d be a ton of fun to photograph on their wedding day. They were super easygoing and had a great time posing for the camera. Even when couples tell us that they’re awkward with the camera, all it takes is a few extra minutes to warm up with us if you’ve done engagement photos.
These two really had a great wedding with family and friends. A Briarcliff Manor wedding is perfect for those who don’t want to travel far from New York City but really want an intimate celebration in a gorgeous location. Briarcliff has so much to offer as a superior Hudson Valley wedding venue, especially with the fabulous sunset over the Hudson River.
Another important element of the day was the private last dance with the couple. Typically, as Beacon-based wedding photographers and videographers, we don’t stay all the way until the end of the reception. Much of the time, it’s because family and friends are less photogenic at the end of the evening and there’s over-coverage. But in this case, Eric and Noelle had a private last dance after everybody left, and it was just the two of them. This was a fabulous, intimate moment to capture that made for some stunning candid upstate New York wedding photos.
We love Briarcliff Manor weddings in the Hudson Valley. It has a cozy and intimate feel it provides for Hudson Valley wedding photographers. It’s a place where you can hold an elegant celebration without being too large or impersonal. Briarcliff has really been a staple in the area when it comes to Tarrytown wedding venues for intimate wedding receptions. This was a super beautiful wedding to capture, and exemplary of a perfect fall wedding in New York.
Noelle’s hair and makeup were done by A Beauty by Amanda. Florals were done by Botanique to set the scene. The bride’s beautiful dress was from Jenny Yoo, while Eric’s suit was from the Black Tux. This event was coordinated by Emily at Briarcliff Manor, with A Perfect Blend Entertainment at the DJ booth. Their cake was from Caked Up Café.
Thinking of having a beautiful Briarcliff Manor wedding of your own? Let us know – we’d love to help capture the day. As a married wedding photo and video team based in New York, we love capturing celebrations outside of the city. Briarcliff Manor is truly one of the most stunning wedding venues in the Hudson Valley, and we can’t wait to go back soon.
