The best time for an engagement photoshoot at the Brooklyn Bridge is early in the morning. This is because there are no tourists out yet on the bridge. It gets quite busy on the Brooklyn Bridge, so to get perfect NYC engagement photos, you must go early. Even shortly after the sun rises, there are plenty of tourists walking the bridge.

We were met with a pretty cloudy day, which made for some nice even lighting for their Dumbo engagement photos. We also like to have a coffee with our couples and get to know them a little better. Mally and Kevin were so much fun to get to know on the morning of our shoot. We used this as a warm-up spot, and also the Time Out Market in Brooklyn. Showing up super early can be tough, so having a coffee in the morning can ease that morning feeling a little.
