They began the day at a cozy house just down the road from Milea Estate Vineyard. Lauren got ready upstairs while Adam got ready downstairs. Surrounded by close family, the couple enjoyed a quiet, sweet morning before their first look. Lauren approached Adam by the pool, and the reaction on his face said it all.

A First Look Filled with Emotion at this Hudson Valley Venue

Adam was blown away by Lauren’s colorful wedding gown, a stunning nontraditional look that captured her spirit. The excitement and love between them were so clear. After the first look, we hopped in a car and headed a minute down the road to Milea Estate Vineyard. Our first stop was the stunning Devotion statue, a beautiful nod to Lauren’s love of horses.

Their ceremony took place in the vineyard itself, a peaceful and picturesque location surrounded by nature. Friends and family shared readings, live music, and even led the entire group in singing “Can’t Help Falling in Love.” One especially tender moment was when Adam’s best friend read from The Velveteen Rabbit. The ceremony was packed with emotion, with plenty of joyful tears from the couple and their loved ones.

Walk Through the Vines to the Clubhouse Reception Space

After the ceremony, Lauren and Adam walked hand-in-hand up through the vines. They made their way back to the Clubhouse for an extended cocktail hour. Guests enjoyed the incredible views from the lawn, mixing and mingling while the couple joined in the celebration. It was a beautiful opportunity for more candid photos in soft evening light.

The reception began with fresh salads and a generous family-style dinner. Adam gave a heartfelt speech, thanking everyone who traveled to celebrate with them. Lauren and Adam kicked off the party with a choreographed first dance that was equal parts romantic and fun. Guests were on their feet the whole night, dancing under the warm glow of string lights. Outside, a DIY strawberry shortcake bar gave guests a sweet way to cool off and mingle between songs. It was one of those nights where joy filled every corner of the space.

Lauren and Adam had an incredible team of vendors. Milea Estate catered the event and created the desserts, including the delightful strawberry shortcake bar. Lauren’s hair and makeup were done by Judy McGuinness and Samantha Hodge from Bridal by Alexandria. Her colorful Temperley gown came from Nicole Bridal, while Adam wore a dapper Etro suit. Jay McGuire created the stunning floral arrangements. Music came courtesy of harpist Erin Hill during the ceremony and cocktail hour, and DJ Daniel Tipton kept the party going into the night. Their first dance was choreographed by Jessica Jaber Fishel, who was there to see it performed.
