Dave and Kara were such a delight to work with! They’re both very friendly and easy going. They had lots of creative ideas for their shoot, and we love that he was willing to move around during their session! The weather that day called for lots of clouds, but we managed to dodge raindrops and even got some sun.

DUMBO is one of the most iconic NYC engagement photo locations. It is a picturesque spot for Brooklyn Bridge Park Photo sessions where the breathtaking views can create epic backdrop for your photos! Not to mention it has amazing restaurants and shops that are perfect for taking some time to grab something to eat or drink after your session.

We only take early morning sunrise photos on the Brooklyn Bridge. It is the only time we can get the quality of light that we want for your photos. Plus, it’s super busy at every other time of day. Sunrise sessions are especially worth it when you factor in the traffic, crowds, and noise that are usually present at 10am-8pm in the Park.

Brooklyn Bridge Park has some of our favorite background photo locations in NYC. Walking along the Brooklyn Bridge is such a beautiful experience and an unforgettable backdrop for photos! We’ve taken thousands of shots there, but it never gets old.

Iconic Engagement Photography in the Brooklyn Area

We met these two at the corner of Prospect St & Washington St. This is the easiest place to access the entrance of the Brooklyn Bridge. From there you can also walk directly to the Manhattan Bridge for a great photo. We went up a few hundred yards along Washington St until we were on the Brooklyn side of the bridge. We had an epic view from there.

The classic “Instagram shot” in DUMBO is taken on Washington Street. As Brooklyn wedding photographers, we’re regulars at this location. It’s our most highly requested photography spot. This spot is just a short walk from the Brooklyn Bridge. It can be tricky to find because various streets converge at this location, so it’s easy to get lost if you haven’t been there before.

After the bridges, we went over to the waterfront. These two were having their wedding at Jane’s Carousel, so we took lots of photos nearby. You have a great view of the Manhattan skyline when taking engagement photos in Brooklyn Bridge Park.
