Chris and Marianna tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony in the heart of Manhattan. These two decided on a Madison Square Park elopement as it was a big part of their story. We were so honored to capture the love story between these two. With Weddings by Larissa officiating their intimate wedding in NYC, it was a short and sweet ceremony.

These two woke up early for their Madison Square Park elopement before the area got too busy. This part of Manhattan is a hub for work and for commuting, so we wanted to get their photos with the neighborhood as empty as possible. We arrived for a 7:30AM ceremony in the park near a special spot to the couple.

We love to take Manhattan elopement photos as early as possible because, well, it’s the city that never sleeps. This is one of the busiest places in the world. Going out for your elopement ceremony early allows you to have a more intimate NYC wedding photography experience. Marianna and Chris used to meet up in the park and eat lunch together. They shared many romantic moments in the area and had a personal connection to the Flatiron District. After they made it official and tied the knot, we took some fun photos in the area. Madison Square Park is in the Flatiron District, home to one of the most iconic pieces of architecture in the city. Not only did we take photos with the iconic architecture, but used the streets of the city as well. Chris and Marianna planned to move out of the city later in the year, so capturing the vibes of this stunning location was important to them. We had them use the crosswalks for romantic and iconic NYC wedding photos.

On this Madison Square Park elopement day, we felt lucky because there was also a beautiful art installation in the park. It featured a bunch of very tall trees in the park which made for a couple of truly epic photos. Additionally, Kenneth used his 4×5 film camera to take some film wedding photos. It was fun to get creative with Marianna and Chris who were totally open to whatever fun ideas we had.
