We're Beacon-based Hudson Valley & Catskills wedding + elopement photographers who love to capture natural, authentic moments for all couples in love.
This stunning Hudson Valley proposal photography took place at one of the finest places to pop the question. As local photographers, we love to come out to Little Stony Point Park to capture engagements. Marco proposed to Tori on this beautiful winter day at the overlook. Just a quick walk from the parking lot, these two set out to see the beauty of Storm King and the Hudson River. What Tori wasn’t expecting, was for Marco to drop to his knee and ask her to marry him.

When it comes to surprise proposals, there are so many gorgeous spots in this region. As Hudson Valley proposal photographers, we can recommend tons of places that will make a great backdrop. Marco chose this spot because it was an easy way to get jaw-dropping views. The couple spent the day out in the area at Dia:Beacon and walking around the main street. Then in the late afternoon, they headed out to this spot in Cold Spring. Just about 10 minutes away from the downtown area, it was an easy trek to get from the museum to this proposal location.

The hiking trails of this park make for the perfect Cold Spring proposal photos. It’s super easy to get to this spot for your proposal engagement session. When you plan to pop the question at Little Stony Point Park, you’ll want to plan footwear accordingly. The trails are pretty similar in any season, so as long as there aren’t any stiletto heels, you should be good. Either way, this well-loved park is easy to navigate no matter the time of day.

Tori and Marco’s Hudson Valley proposal photography was a perfect example of how to get a great view. Before you ask your partner to marry you, plan the day out in the area. Beacon has a ton of gorgeous hotels and inns like the Roundhouse, Dutchess Inn & Spa, and the Beacon Hermitage. For your pre-proposal ideas, you could head to brunch at Wonderbar or the Beacon Bread Company. You can also take a peek at Dia:Beacon or Storm King Art Center.

When it comes to Hudson Valley marriage proposals, Cold Spring is one of the most beautiful places. Celebrate your next chapter at Blu Pointe in Newburgh or Kitchen Sink Supper Club. This is a stunning region to celebrate this relationship milestone. Plus, we’ll send you some sneak peeks that night for social media and sending to your friends. We want to be sure you can share this love story as soon as possible.
