Laura and Rob’s Crossed Keys Estate wedding in Andover is a gallery that perfectly encapsulates the versatility of this NJ wedding venue. As Hudson Valley wedding photographers, we love to come out to this part of Northern New Jersey for stunning celebrations. With overcast weather and summer heat, the ceremony photos take place indoors with portraits outside.
Let’s talk about the venue, first and foremost. Nestled in the woods of Sussex County, this wedding venue is one of the most picturesque places to get married. With the ability to accommodate up to 275 guests, this event space is perfect for couples who want a big celebration. With both indoor and outdoor ceremony sites, you’re absolutely set no matter the weather.
With tons of photo locations, you can easily get pictures from start to finish. Couples can get ready on-site which ensures that your schedule runs smoothly. There are some great spots for portraits, including the willow tree and the swing. The estate grounds of this Andover wedding venue are picturesque for a celebration in any season.
The English garden is a gorgeous spot for ceremonies. For Laura and Rob’s Crossed Keys Estate wedding, they had their ceremony indoors. With a simple and elegant look, the space is perfect for timeless wedding photography. Our Hudson Valley wedding photo and video team loves to capture non-traditional images in this unique space.
The main event space has nearly floor-to-ceiling glass windows, allowing for tons of natural light. Treat your guests to a stunning view as you say I do. It’s perfect for indoor ceremonies at your Crossed Keys Estate wedding like Laura and Rob’s. The Conservatory also features a ton of natural light, which makes for a great cocktail hour spot.
This Andover, NJ wedding venue hosts weddings for 100 to almost 300 guests. From the stone walls of the playhouse to the charming swing, there are so many great spots for portraits and celebratory times. Crossed Keys Estate hosts weddings throughout the year, and offers a floral team. Crossed Keys Designs can help you create a stunning look for your ceremony.
The couple each got ready at their respective parts of the property. Laura’s hair and makeup took place in the playhouse, which had gorgeous natural light and rustic details. Rob and his groomsmen got ready in the Pequest Parlor, just up the hill from the playhouse. Each space at this Crossed Keys Estate wedding felt like it was truly made for fine art wedding photography.
The first look took place in the rain, just outside of the playhouse. We then took the couple outside of the farmhouse for portraits with their umbrella. The rain started to clear up just in time for couples photos within the weeping willow trees. These two then changed for their tea ceremony in the Conservatory.
The tea ceremony for this Crossed Keys Estate wedding was beautifully lit within the space. Laura and Rob then went outside for portraits before changing back into their ceremony attire. Shortly after, they recited private vows in the farmhouse suite before walking down the aisle. The ceremony was sweet and sentimental, and perfectly reflected the couple’s love story.
Laura and Rob spent their reception having a ton of fun. As candid, documentary wedding photographers in the Hudson Valley, we recommend that you spend as much time as you can on the dance floor. This is a great way to encourage guests to dance and have fun. You can clearly see how much of a blast this party is through these photos.
The farmhouse reception space features floor to ceiling glass walls that bring in natural light as the sun sets. Once the sun goes down, you can tell it’s time to party. From weddings for 100 guests to almost 300, this venue is 30 acres of beauty. It’s the perfect place to have a blast with your friends, family, and wedding party.
