Christina and Marques joined us for an early morning photo shoot in this iconic NYC photo location. We started just as the sun was peeking out from behind the Manhattan skyline, and it made for some pretty magical moments! These early morning Brooklyn Bridge Park engagement photos turned out absolutely stunning, and we are so excited to share them with you.
Beautiful Brooklyn Bridge Park Engagement Photos at Sunrise
If there’s one photo shoot location we love in New York, it’s the historic neighborhood of DUMBO. From the Brooklyn Bridge to Jane’s Carousel, there are endless photo opportunities in this gorgeous area. And one of our all-time favorite spots is Brooklyn Bridge Park. This park stretches 1.3 miles along the East River waterfront, and there’s nothing quite like watching the sunrise over the Manhattan skyline from here. So when Christina and Marques contacted us about doing their engagement photos in DUMBO, we were thrilled.
Wake Up Early for the Best Brooklyn Bridge Engagement Photography
One of the best things about DUMBO is that it’s a great location for photos no matter what time of day. But if you’re planning to do your engagement photos here, we recommend getting up early for a sunrise session. Not only will you beat the crowds, but you’ll also get to enjoy the park in all its peaceful morning glory. And of course, you’ll get to capture some stunning sunrise photos like these.
Dress Sharp for Your Engagement Photos in Brooklyn Bridge Park
When it comes to what to wear for your session, we always recommend dressing sharp. After all, this is a once-in-a-lifetime moment, so you want to look your best! For her Brooklyn Bridge Park engagement photos, Christina chose a gorgeous white dress with delicate lace details. This made for some ultra-romantic photos, especially when the light caught the lace just right. Marques looked dapper in his pink suit, making quite a sharp pair together.
Tips for What to Wear During Your DUMBO Engagement Photos
Whether you’re planning to do your engagement photos in Brooklyn Bridge Park or elsewhere in DUMBO, there are a few things to keep in mind when choosing your outfit. First, remember that this is a highly photogenic area, so you want to ensure you’re dressed to impress. Second, since DUMBO is right by the water, we recommend avoiding anything that might blow around in the wind (unless you’re going for a more whimsical look, of course). And finally, don’t forget to comfortable shoes! You’ll be doing a lot of walking during your session, so you want to make sure your feet are happy.
Brooklyn Bridge Park Engagement Photos at Jane’s Carousel
No DUMBO engagement photo shoot is complete without a stop at Jane’s Carousel. This historic carousel dates back to 1922 and is one of the most beloved attractions in Brooklyn Bridge Park. And its beautiful views of Lower Manhattan make for a pretty great photo spot too. Christina and Marques danced and laughed their way around the park. We loved capturing every comfortable, candid moment as their New York engagement photographers.
